OK... I made it through the single mom week ok. Lee got home last night and commented on how extremly quiet Ohio was, as Tristan yelled at Chandler for looking at him wrong! Lee is taking the boys to a Bee's baseball game tonight and I think Ciera and I will hit a few more Parade of Homes. One thing that I am taking away from seeing all of the opulent homes, is that I am grateful I don't need stuff to make me happy or feel important. I look at these multi-million dollar homes and think "I am glad I do not have to maintain all of that stuff". I am just looking at all of the kitchens for idea for my kitchen. I take pictures of light switches, mop boards, gargbage disposal buttons, paint colors, flooring etc. Cheryl and I actually got lost in one house! Way too big.
Ciera gets home from girl's camp today!!! I can't wait to hear all about it. I will have her do a post about camp.

did you end up going to any more homes?? We did not get around to any. But I am glad I got to go with you. I was thinking the same thing about being glad I dont need all that "stuff" to make me happy. I think I would have a nervous breakdown if I had to maintain a home that big!! Still love the last house we saw the best!! Still glad we are parade of homes buddies and the best of friends! love ya tons!
I am glad you survived! :) I never did get to go on any of your parade of home jaunts ... sniff sniff. I could use some ideas for this home which is still a little bare. Maybe you and cheryl and I are just gettting to a new stage in life but I was just thinking the same thing this morning ... that I dont need "stuff" (anymore) to make my life complete. My family, the gospel, a cool spring morning, the written word, a song, a good report card (hahaha), watching my boys get the preisthood one after another ... those are the things that bring me joy and make this life worth while ... who wants to clean a 40 room house? I dont even like to clean my quaint 10(ish) room home :) LYT
