Joining the Blog Generation

Thank you to all who are sending me these links to these great blogs. I am so enjoying keeping up on everyones lives, that I thought I would start one for our family.

The Perry family had grown by one. Our newest edition is Jaxon Sheppard Perry. Jaxon was born November 20 at 2:16 p.m. He came into the world very calmly and is a very good baby. We all love him, execept Tristan, who would like the doctors to take him back to the hospital where he came from and quit stealing all of the attention.

Ciera and Chandler are in the middle of basketball season. They both enjoy the sport and are doing well. Ciera is still taking voice lessons and enjoys being with her friends. Chandler is working on getting his wolf in cub scouts and of course loves his computer games. Tristan is a typical three year old who thinks our world should revolve around him and is shocked and angered when it does not. He is learning the alphabet song and can sing Twinkle, Twinkle, almost word for word. Jaxon has just discovered his hand the last couple of days. He spends long periods of time being mesmorized by the way it moves. Lee is, of course, busy at work and we hardly see him right now. He is still working for Taxworks. Taxworks was bought by H&R Block last year. They have been implementing many new processes and taking Lee away for up to 100 hours a week.

My heart is tender at the loss of our Prophet, Gordon B. Hinckley. For those of you that are interested, there is a web site called "Hinckleychallange.com" People are organizing to read the Book of Mormon in 97 days to honor President Hinckley. It started today. You need to read 5.4 pages a day and will finish on May 11. What a great way to honor this great man and follow his council.

I am posting pictures of the front of our house taken moments ago. I was out shoveling, and decided that taking pictures would me much more fun. The snow just keeps coming and we keep shoveling. The mailman keeps putting diagrams in our mailbox explaining that we need to remove the snow in front of our mailbox...but really! They can keep my mail until spring... but I am not tackling that mountain! I thought the motto was to deliver the mail through rain, sleat and hail...now they can't even get out of the car!

I am so proud of you!!! Way to go! It looks great! I feel the same way about the snow mountains in front of our mailbox. Nate and Nick did dig it out on sunday. I will be happy to have a husband home to help shovel!!I think we will do the challenge too. We started reading last week at the beginning of the book of mormon, so we are on track to jump right in to the challenge. If not, I will do it personally!
Love ya tons!

Yay for joining the blogging community! Sad but true that it's the easiest way for me to stay in touch with everyone. It looks really good! You and Ciera need to come over soon, now that things have calmed down.
